Savvy Homes Building Process
You may have seen Savvy Homes signs around the area, or see a sign that says “Resourceful Living.” This is Savvy’s motto. Savvy Homes tries to use conservative ways to better the environment through better design, green building opportunities, conservation, and efficient product usage. In doing this, this company strives to have people live “Savvy.”
The building process for Savvy homes is as follows from purchase agreement to closing:
- First 10 Days: get home buyer pre-approved for mortgage, write up contract with myself as your buyers agent, go to the selections office to pick out housing colors and options, get permits approved to start construction.
- Within 30 – 120 Days (depending on size of home): construction of home, major construction milestones with home buyer, passing county/state inspections, utilities.
- Last 7 – 21 Days: Home buyer walk thru with site superintendent to fix the minute items, homeowner orientation, final acceptance and walk thru, closing on home.
Currently, Savvy has 36 homes for sale on the market. However, there are many more available than that due to being able to look at the plat map of the neighborhood and seeing what other lots are available for you! From January 2011 – December 2011, Savvy homes sold 110 homes in the Jacksonville, NC area to include Sneads Ferry, and Hampstead. To date this year, Savvy has sold 14 homes with 37 under contract awaiting completion and the closing date.
Savvy is building homes in many different areas of the MCB Camp Lejeune area near Jacksonville, NC. See below at these various different neighborhoods where Savvy is currently building:
If you are interested in one of these homes, please let me know. I am able to represent you as your Buyer’s Agent and look out for your best interests, not the builders. Read some information on Buyer’s Agent representation.
